We joined the CMI community because we appreciate how the school focuses on academic, physical, social, and emotional learning. The staff members actively cultivate a vibrant, inclusive community that teaches children to see and value themselves and each other as unique and special individuals. CMI’s International Primary Curriculum and their language, health, and art classes enhance the reading and math instruction and build skills, knowledge, and creativity that will serve our children for their whole lives! We are grateful and proud to be a part of the CMI community!

When our daughter Evelyn was born, we moved to Washington, DC, to minimize our commute and create more time for family. We found a home near a lot of good schools, but none of them focused on the whole person as Creative Minds does. We put CMI at the top of our list and were thrilled when Evelyn got into CMI for pre-k3. We have been proud to watch her grow into the intelligent, strong, and conscientious 4th grader she is today. Although it's no secret, the CMI campus is beautiful. The devoted teachers and engaged staff at CMI have made a real difference for our daughter and her classmates. And speaking of classmates, we have also made lasting friendships with other CMI parents through Evelyn's school friends, through volunteer opportunities with the Creative Families Association, and through Jenni's current appointment to the CMI Board of Trustees. Our family is a real part of the CMI community.

"We decided to send our kids to CMI because we wanted a diverse environment that actively promotes inclusion and social-emotional learning. It's a wonderful bonus that the kids (and we, the parents!) have made many great friends in the CMI community. We give to the CFA's campaigns every year because giving funds crucial programs and upgrades that benefit all students, including ours."
"We came to CMI for its global & inclusive approach to learning. However, we quickly admired the Creative Families Association's commitment to the parent and family community, especially during the pandemic. In the past few years, it hasn't been easy for any of us, and I thoroughly respect CMI for putting health and safety first while doing what they could to support families undergoing every imaginable stress. Despite the challenges of these years, we've seen our kids inspired by the celebration of world cultures, arts, and STEM subjects at CMI. We continue to support CMI & the CFA so that they can continue to foster that love of learning in a diverse, inclusive community. We are incredibly excited about what this group of educators will do in a post-pandemic world.
